Author DOUGLAS R. MILLER

Douglas R. Miller grew up in Pennsylvania and got his bachelor’s degree in biology and chemistry from Washington & Jefferson College, followed by his Ph.D. in medical physiology from Cornell University. After doing a postdoc. At Massachusetts General Hospital he worked as a Research Scientist for several universities and companies. He wrote over 200 grants proposals, papers, patents, and a lab manual., researching arthritis, cancer, bone and soft tissue (wound) repair, enhanced vaccines, several areas of electrochemistry, and food safety. He and his wife are now retired in Texas with a worthless dog (who’s a bed hog) and a very demanding 23-year-old cat as well as a pond full of fish. He writes SF when he feels like it because of his lifelong affection for the area. This is his third book.
